Barbora Hainzová:
Nehledě na to, jestli pravou, nebo levou, pevně doufám, že tou správnou. Svoji výchozí pozici bych však ráda zaujala v Praze.


femme: Počas vysokoškolského štúdia ste absolvovali zaujímavý pobyt v Nemecku...

Barbora Hainzová: Zahraniční stáž v německém Idar Obersteinu pro mě byla velmi přínosnou zkušeností, nejen proto, že jsem působila v městečku, kde je šperk pomalu každodenním chlebem, ale také jsem během působení na místní vysoké umělecké škole poznala nové technologie a odlišné přístupy k tvorbě. Během tohoto pobytu jsem si vyzkoušela jednak tradiční způsoby broušení drahých kamenů i jejich netradiční uchopení ve šperku. Zpočátku jsem se snažila k tvorbě přistupovat, nejspíš ze zvyku, v rozmezí klasických zlatnických technik, ale později to celé nabralo poměrně experimentální směr. Vybavuji si moment, kdy mi profesor během konzultace, dva týdny před obhajobou, donesl obrovské kladivo s tím, že pokud chci své šperky vylepšit, měla bych je rozbít. Nejprve jsem to považovala za špatný vtip, ale z jeho strany to byla seriozní výzva, která se v konečném důsledku ukázala být efektivní a osvobozující. Střípky, které mi po důkladné destrukci zbyly, jsem poté poskládala s pomocí barevné lepící pásky do nové kolekce šperků. Zároveň jsem tak na chvíli hodila za hlavu naučené postupy klasického šperkařského řemesla a zjistila, že to jde i hravější a zábavnější formou. V rámci tohoto atelieru sem absolvovala i exkurzi v Amsterdamu, kde jsem navštívila řadu galerií se současnou šperkařskou tvorbou a měla možnost nahlédnout do atelierů jejich tvůrců.

Napriek vášmu, takmer „čistokrvnému“ šperkárskemu vzdelaniu, sa vaša práca pohybuje na rozhraní s dizajnom produktov. Čo vám je bližšie?

Barbora Hainzová: Mezi šperkem a dizajnem nevidím velký rozdíl. Jsou pro mě vlastně totéž, jen v různém měřítku. Zatímco šperk zdobí člověka, produktový dizajn zdobí domácnost. Pojem šperk je dnes už tak široký, že podmínkou není ani jeho nositelnost ani jeho materialita. Ačkoli, osobně jsem zastánce názoru, podle kterého by šperky měly být nošené, plnit funkci užitkového předmětu a brát ohled na svého uživatele stejně tak, jako je tomu u produktového dizajnu. Kdybych ale měla být konkrétnější, šperk je mi v tomto ohledu o trochu bližší. Hlavně proto, že má svojí funkcí osobnější charakter a také proto, že se jím zabývám podstatně déle.


femme: Vaša tvorba sa vyznačuje maximálnou farebnou úspornosťou. Je to zámer, alebo čaro nechceného?

Barbora Hainzová: Není to zas tak dávno, možná tři roky dozadu, kdy jsem ve své tvorbě hojně využívala pestrých křiklavých barev, zvláště pak růžové. Názory a vkus se ale často v průběhu času mění. Tak i já jsem po jisté době cítila určitou přesycenost a přeslazenost těchto barev, proto jsem se začala přirozeně orientovat především na formu a výrazové materiály. V poslední době se snažím, aby tvarosloví co nejlépe vyznělo v daném materiálu a jako celek pokud možno upoutalo divákovu pozornost bez použití vyzývavé a řvavé barevnosti.


femme: Vyskúšali ste aj netradičný materiál, je vám blízky eko dizajn, redizajn alebo etical fashion?

Barbora Hainzová: Eko dizajn, redizajn a etical fashion jsou rozhodně nezbytnými směry do budoucna. Tím, že konzumní trh produkuje velké množství zboží, produkuje i velké množství odpadu. Na jedné straně dochází k drancování přírody, na straně druhé k jejímu zahlcování věcmi, které už nikdo nechce. Tyto alternativy se snaží vyjít životnímu prostředí vstříc, jsou jak aktuální, tak i nadčasové a já je rozhodně vnímám pozitivně.

Touto problematikou jsem se okrajově zabývala i ve své poslední práci, v které jsem hledala jak tvarovou, tak i materiálovou alternativu běžně dostupných plastových krabiček na šperky. Překážela mi především jejich kýčovitost a často až nevzhledné dizajnové řešení, nekorespondující s drahým šperkem. Chtěla jsem, aby tyto krabičky nesloužily jen svému účelu, ale samy o sobě působily jako interiérový doplněk. Nezdá se vám, že většina těch, které nalezneme na trhu, se dá svým vzhledem přirovnat ke zmenšeným rakvím? A právě tato asociace mě přivedla k inspiračnímu zdroji pramenícího z rituálního pohřbívání z dob starověku. V těch dobách byl zesnulý, s veškerým bohatstvím včetně svých šperků, ukládán do kamenného hrobu. Svoje krabičky jsem tedy pojala jako takové menší kamenné schránky. Pro jejich výrobu jsem použila porobeton, který nejenže svojí strukturou asociuje povrch kamene a svým složením je ekologicky nenáročný, ale také díky jeho lehkosti bylo možné využít systému zavírání na principu zabudovaných neodymových magnetů. Jeho vlastnosti, dovolující tuto hmotu odlévat, mě navíc přivedly na myšlenku případné malosériové výroby. A součástí každé krabičky je také zlatá síťovka, která slouží jako stylová taška.
