Art Déco reminiscencie ovplyvnili tak strihy tohtoročných spoločenských šiat, ako aj vzory materiálov... Ak chcete byť výnimočne in, oblečte si "charlestonky"!

Túto sezónu (podobne ako v tých predchádzajúcich) sa návrhári u plesových a spoločenských šiat inšpirovali predovšetkým minulým storočím: okrem charlestonovských strihov ponúkajú hlavne priliehavé typy šiat zvýrazňujúce tvar postavy (korzety, strečové kreácie), pričom k charakteristickým prvkom patria špagetové ramienka a rozmanité štóly. Dlhé šaty inovatívne siahajú len po členky a sukne sú bohaté, široké... ako vyžaduje tanec.

Dôležitou novinkou sú kožušiny a perie (pravé i syntetické): kabátiky z imitácie perziánu v zlatej a medenej farbe; perie ako boa šantánových tanečníc, ako zdobiaci prvok (saténové korzety doplnené volánovou sukňou s pásmi rajčieho peria) alebo ako samostatná odevná súčasť...
